How Crash works
and how to check it.

A rocket takes off, a multiplier climbs with it, and at some point the rocket crashes. Your whole decision is when to jump out.

The round

What happens in one round

  1. The crash point is decided first

Before the rocket leaves, the round's crash point is already fixed by the seeds behind it. Its fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) is published before anyone plays, so it cannot be changed once you see it.
  2. The multiplier climbs

The multiplier starts at 1.00× and rises while the rocket flies. The highest it can reach is 1,000×.
  3. You choose when to jump

Press the button to jump out at the current multiplier. Jump before the crash point and the round is settled at that multiplier; wait too long and the rocket crashes first.
  4. Check it afterwards

When the round ends the server seed is revealed, and anyone can recompute the crash point and compare it with the fingerprint shown before the round.

The numbers

What the 4% house edge means

Crash has a house edge of 4%. Over a very large number of rounds, the game keeps about 4% of everything staked, whatever multiplier players aim for. It is a property of how crash points are generated, and it is printed in the game under “Know your game”.

That also means no jumping pattern changes the long-run result. Aiming for 1.5× wins more often and smaller; aiming for 10× wins rarely and bigger; the edge is the same 4% either way. Choose a point you are comfortable with and treat Crash as entertainment.

Blaze Coins have no cash value

Most players play Crash with Blaze Coins, which are for entertainment only. New accounts start with 20, and there is a daily claim. No purchase necessary.

Questions

Crash, answered

No. The round's fingerprint is published before it starts. If the crash point were changed, the revealed seed would no longer match that fingerprint, and anyone checking would see it.
