Policy

1.1 Account information

When you register we collect your email address, username, a hashed password, and date of birth for age verification. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the basic profile fields that provider shares.

1.2 Purchase records

If you buy coins or a membership, we record what was bought, when, the amount, and the payment reference returned by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number — card details are handled entirely by Stripe, who process the payment on our behalf.

1.3 Gameplay data

We log play history, game outcomes, coin balances, rank progress and in-game activity. This is required for the provably fair system to work, for dispute resolution, and for detecting collusion and bot abuse.

1.4 Technical data

We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device information and access logs for security monitoring and fraud prevention.

1.5 Optional information

If you contact support or take part in a promotion, we keep what you voluntarily send us — support messages, feedback, survey responses.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Run games, settle rounds and maintain your coin balance
• Process purchases of coin packs and memberships
• Verify your age and eligibility
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, multi-accounting and bonus abuse
• Provide customer support
• Send account notifications such as security alerts and purchase confirmations
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve the product and build new features

Marketing communications

We may send promotional email about bonuses, tournaments and new games. You can opt out at any time in your settings or via the unsubscribe link. We do not send promotional messaging to accounts that have set a play limit, started a cooling-off period, or self-excluded — regardless of your marketing preference.

Service providers

We use third parties for hosting, database services, email delivery and error monitoring. They are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide the service we hired them for.

Payment processing

Purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment details you enter and returns us a transaction reference. We share with them only what is needed to take the payment and to recognise it afterwards.

Legal compliance

We may disclose information where required by law, court order or regulator, or to protect our rights, property or the safety of our users.

Business transfers

If WagerBlaze is acquired or merged, your data may transfer to the new entity. You will be notified of any such change.

• In transit — all traffic is served over TLS.
• Passwords — stored as bcrypt hashes, never in plaintext, and never recoverable by us.
• Two-factor authentication — optional TOTP, which we recommend enabling.
• Access control — staff access to player data is limited and audit-logged.

We keep your data while your account is active. After closure we retain a limited subset for:

• Legal compliance and dispute resolution
• Fraud prevention and security monitoring
• Financial record-keeping and tax obligations
• Honouring self-exclusion — we must remember that an account was excluded in order to keep it excluded

You can request deletion at any time. Where the law requires us to keep a record, we keep the minimum and delete the rest.

WagerBlaze is operated from Denmark, so EU data protection law applies. You have the right to:

• Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — have inaccurate information fixed
• Deletion — have your data erased, subject to legal retention
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing at any time
• Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent

Write to privacy@wagerblaze.com to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We use cookies and similar storage to:

• Keep you signed in
• Remember preferences such as theme and language
• Understand site usage and performance
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

Some analytics providers set their own cookies. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without the session cookie.

WagerBlaze is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account we close it immediately and delete the associated data.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has given us information should contact us straight away and we will act on it.

We may update this policy. Changes are posted here with a new “last updated” date, and significant changes are communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
